Bronwyn Oatley

Bronwyn is an independent consultant, providing business model development, program design, and research for social enterprises, non-profit organizations, funders and intermediaries.

Formerly, she served as a Policy Advisor in the Social Enterprise Branch of the Ministry of Economic Development and Growth for the Province of Ontario. In this role, she supported the development of the Province’s Social Enterprise Strategy 2016-2021, and led the development of the Centre of Excellence in Social Enterprise and Social Finance, a social enterprise knowledge hub within the provincial government.

Previously, Bronwyn served as a Senior Associate at the MaRS Discovery District, where she worked with a team of six to launch Studio [Y], a leading innovation and leadership Fellowship for Ontario’s top young social innovators. Prior to her time at Studio [Y], Bronwyn served as the Interim Managing Editor of at the MaRS Centre for Impact Investing.

Bronwyn currently sits on the Advisory Board of Wilfrid Laurier University’s Schlegel Centre for Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation.
