Chelsea Longaphy


Chelsea is a Consultant in our Impact Advisory practice where she advises on select client projects and plays a key role in the firm’s strategic development. Chelsea has worked in the impact investing space for over six years, including on community bond offerings and in ESG investment research.

Chelsea has worked for the Centre for Social Innovation on various strategic financial matters such as the purchase of two heritage buildings, expansion to New York City and more than $6 million in community bond offerings. Previously, Chelsea worked for Corporate Knights Capital, the start-up investment research arm of Corporate Knights, where she focused on Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) data analysis, sales, and business development.

Outside of Purpose, Chelsea leads the Community Wealth Building Project of the Parkdale People’s Economy, a year long research initiative to explore the opportunities for social enterprise and community investing in Toronto’s West End Parkdale neighbourhood. Chelsea serves as Vice Chair of urban agriculture charity Greenest City and co-chairs the Community Finance Committee of the Parkdale People’s Economy. She is also an advisor to the Centre for Social Innovation’s Climate Solutions Accelerator program.

Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and a Sustainable Investing Professional Certification from Concordia University. She is an avid traveler and is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
